Meet LIRE, our handmade vintage clay pot.
LIRE originates from Zimbabwe, South Africa and was originally created to house and serve beer. The handcrafted pots are made from brown or black clay and are typically produced by women. The beautiful pots are crafted by using techniques of coiling clay, firing in a depression in the ground, then fishing with brightly coloured painted geometric patterns around the rim.
