The pandemic has made us all more conscious of our surroundings, and many of us have turned to earthy, natural hues to create a sense of calm and tranquillity in our homes. Expect to see more muted greens, warm browns, and terracotta shades in 2023, used in everything from paint colours to soft furnishings. Whilst we disagree with the term 'trend' when it comes to the use of earth tones in the home, this is still music to our ears... After all, nature-inspired interiors are what we do best!

While the laid-back mid-century luxe trend is still going strong, we're also seeing a resurgence of formal accents. Think elegant, classic pieces like chandeliers, ornate mirrors, and antique-inspired furniture. Brutalism Makes an Appearance

Although we're not expecting to see full-blown brutalism taking over our interiors, we are seeing hints of it creeping in. Raw, unfinished stone edges (yes please!), and concrete floors are being incorporated into spaces as a nod to the trend. Expect to see more concrete accent pieces and structural elements like exposed beams, all in a bid to create a more industrial, raw feel.

Statement glass is a continued favourite amongst interior designers in 2023, and it's no surprise. We're all becoming more aware of the impact we have on the environment, and in 2023, we're waving goodbye to fast furniture and over-populated shelves. Instead, we're seeing a rise in statement and investment pieces that will last a lifetime. Shelves featuring a multitude of unpurposeful objects are also on their way out. Displaying everything from books to plants and artwork is now being replaced with a less is more approach. Think curated and a display for art!
